One of the reasons Las Vegas is a great destination is because of its weather. It rarely rains and has over 300 days of sunshine every year! Although it can get chilly in the winter and hot in the summer, temperatures are relatively moderate most of the year. This makes for great helicopter tours year around! If you want to learn about what the weather is like during specific times of the year, check out the information below.
As you can see, the winter months can get a bit chilly, although temperatures very rarely get below freezing. If you are planning on being outdoors, you will probably want to wear warmer clothes such as pants, shoes, and a sweater or jacket. In the summer months it can get quite warm, so you will want to plan on wearing cool, comfortable clothes and drinking plenty of water. The temperatures in fall and spring are usually very nice and are the most comfortable for enjoying outside activities. Grand Canyon Weather
Weather inside the Grand Canyon is similar to that of Las Vegas, although it can be slightly warmer on the Grand Canyon floor with a maximum recorded temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The good news is that since it is a desert, temperatures do drop quite a bit in the evenings. The desert climate is also one of the reasons this area has amazing sunsets.

Short comfortable journey of approx 30 minutes to Boulder airstrip, knowledge is excellent giving a little bit of history along the way. Time to go and here we meet Mad Dog Mike our pilot. He keeps us entertained with music and commentary throughout the flight to the canyon.
